Been to busy to update

Wow, it's been really busy the past few weeks, with family in town, camp planning and record breaking sales at work I haven't had time to update my blog. (Priorities) So in order not to get yelled at for not updating here is a lame list.

My top 10 favorite TV Shows.

1. The West Wing
2. Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
3. M.A.S.H
4. The Office
5. Scrubs
6. Seinfeld
7. Lost
8. Coach
9. Ren & Stimpy
10.GI Joe

Sorry for the filler blog, more to come as time permits.

My blog has full of "filler" blogs lately too. Spare time has just been so rare;) So did you find a place for me to sleep yet? Oh, and I totally love 5,6, & 7! Good choices....although they should be higher on the list. Only old people watch the West Wing;)

That is a good list, even though I can't vouch for the more current ones as I haven't gotten to watch t.v. regularly in years (which is probably better for me anyway).

I am curious... of all the different Star Trek shows, why DS9 over the other ones? I enjoy that one myself, but I have heard other trekkies regard DS9 as inferior to some of the others.

The reason I liked DS9 so much was it had a continues base story for 5 of the seven seasons. While there were other plot lines throughout, it followed the whole Dominion thing for years. I also liked it because it was different then the others for not being on a ship. It was just a better concept. I should stop now before my nerdyness comes shining through even more.

Yeah, DS9 focused more on what was going on with the people right there than on the technology or exploring the galaxy. I would say that the very best Star Trek was the Next Generation, but after seeing all of the TNG episodes over and over, DS9 was a refreshing change. In a way it was more soap opera-ish, which people may or may not like, but it does keep you hooked without the bad acting of a soap. Also, having the war plot line (and the back story of the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor) made it more intense and realistic, I think.

BTW, Danny, there is nothing wrong with nerdyness if it makes you happy. :)
